Constructive Interference

To understand synchronicity it is helpful to add coherence. I so much agree! I'm writing on a page from The Book of Luz, here...hope she doesn't mind. And for me, coherence is of equal importance to synchronicity, but a bit different.

Merriam, my librarian, is helpful here, defining coherence as ”a systematic or logical connection or consistency, integration of diverse elements, relationships or values.” Whereas synchronicity is not logical, coherence is. So I get to consciously choose to parti… Continue

Everyday Evidences of Synchronicity

Synchronicity has been on my brain lately. I had some idea of it, but I wasn't sure exactly what it meant, so I went to Merriam to check it out. (I like to think of her as my own personal librarian) Well, on this question, she was not clear. I couldn't put it all together.

Changing view of multitasking

I published a post about multitasking in my other blog this morning (Minding My Speak) Only after publishing did I google the term and find out that I am somewhat behind the collective thinking on this. The myth of multitasking has been explored quite thoroughly...but I add my story. Would love to know others' thoughts on the topic. Here's the blog:

Ancient Sanskrit texts (going back thousands of years before science and spiritual principle split) teach that you must balance your mind and your emotion, and use them accordingly.

The purpose of the mind is to clarify, visualize, and creatively create conce… Continue

Putting the Heart before the Course

“You've got the cart before the horse!” I've been given that counsel more than a few times in my life, and the words were almost always warranted. Somehow things had gotten out of whack, out of sequence – my progress derailed, my goal pushed out of reach because I forgot to put first things first. I had put the power to pull behind what was being pulled.

I've discovered a corollary to that axiom. It arises from the stew I sometimes get myself in when I launch myself into fervent action on behal… Continue
